Changing tracking numbers
I regularly send various items from China or a Australian online store. The sachets have a tracking number. They are seen at the Melbourne sorting point, but in Launceston post offices they disappear... because the tracking number is changed and an SMS is sent. I don't see where my shipment is, I don't know if their new number is specific to that packet or if someone else has come. Shipments are lost... Why can't I enter the same tracking number with which the packet comes from the sender? Why does it need to be changed and why do I no longer see a registered item on the website? A website with tracking features becomes meaningless if you change numbers arbitrarily.
