Nordic does not pay or fraud?!

I am a former Nordic employee. Now came the moment (November 26) when two Nordic staff members came to me and announced that "November 30 is my last working day" so that I "sign a settlement that I will leave by mutual agreement. I was shocked. Are there no laws in Europe anymore? I hope that the laws of Europe are still working in this country.
