Most recently, I was very "lucky" to visit a super official Volvo service. I signed up for the diagnostics of the rolling part. I promise to wait more than 2 hours for 30 minutes, as a result of which nothing was found after the requested problem! However, I found a very serious problem, quoted: "cracks in the toothed belt", with an offer to repair it as soon as possible. "Our engine" service offer cost 588 dollars! Of course, the problem is very serious! So I immediately go to my master to fix it. As it turns out, all new parts can be bought for 150 dollars, with a total of about 200 dollars per person. But the main surprise was to see the old timing belt without any scratches, clean, with which you can still ride peacefully for a long time. Where there are cracks for the master or service policy - so remained a mystery! But there will definitely be someone who will inadvertently give your Volvo a repair for astronomical money! And without the need to do so! Dear customers, be careful and check everything you say in this nice service.
