Not very happy with my recent purchase of Crispy chicken strips. We always buy Purdue’s products and never an issue. This time I prepared my son some chicken strips in our air fryer. And the quality of the chicken is terrible. Tough, the breading is falling off. For almost $7.00 a bag I didn’t expect this.
The chicken livers for the third time are off color not the nice deep red they used to be. they are very light to yellow to tan colored mixed in with a few red. They are stringy and not firm. I will go out of my way in the future to find non perdue chicken.
Cooked a 9.18 lb oven stuffer toaster chicken. When done-Could not cut the top breast meat- rubbery. Absolutely disgusting- 3.5 hours to cook & not edible. What to do? Have packaging. Yes, I make these @ 1 time a month.
I have bought Perdue “Fresh and all natural” chicken breasts over and over and have gotten at least one rubbery piece in EVERY single package. The rubbery chicken is a lighter color than the other pieces and it is almost impossible to cut because it is like hard…
Bought chicken cutlets. Even pounded them with a mallet. They were so tough and chewy. Absolutely disgusting. Goodbye Perdue. Even the store brand (Publix) was better. I’ll go green wise from now on.
