Complaints & Reviews — Optical Outlets

Complaint is at the Optical Outlet at Titus Landings. I went there to get new glasses and after picking out frames and doing a 5 minute eye exam I waited 3 weeks for my glasses. When I got them I knew right away that they weren’t right. I could not read fine print and thought that they... Read more➤

Tour Quality

I have big claims about the Novatour-led tour of Santorini on July 6, 2018. from Crete. As usual, we are warned not to take tours anywhere other than in Novatour, because the locals cheat, poor quality tours, etc. We applied for a foreign group, but we were pleased that since 12 Americans have applied, there will be a tour of Santorini in American. We have been in such a small American group in Tenerife, it was led by Tez-tour, there was an organized minibus. But for Novatouram, the American group means lower service than the others. Sad, but a fact. We were first joined by an English / German group. When the bus started running, Americans had to change to the back of the bus. Where German-speaking tourists do not want to change, they have to stand and wait until the guide can persuade them to change forward. By the way, the road from the port is a winding mountain road. On the bus, one guide in the microphone tells info in English and German, but our guide, sitting on the back of the bus, tells something in American. Unfortunately, I do not know, because nothing could be heard sitting on the side of the window, but only half of those sitting on the side of the bus aisle could be heard, because what was said in the microphone was much louder than the quiet voice of our guide. After the first stop, our guide also spoke into the microphone, ie English, German and American were spoken in three languages. Very little information was provided. When I paid Novatour for the tour, I received less information than in the advertising booklet! At the next stop we are transferred to another bus by the foreign group, but only 7 people, the other 4 by car. As a result, since we ran two companies of 4 people, one company had to divorce. It was our company because the others were up to the kids. That means three on the bus, but one was driven by car. We were separated during the tour and not because of a broken bus or an accident, but simply because Americans did not have a separate ride (minibus). This is the first time I have experienced such quality at full price! In the end, paying 143 dollars per person, we wanted a quality excursion, but we got the feeling if you are American, so you are a lower category of customers. I wrote an email to Novatour, but it was not considered important to reply. Obviously, this style of work is normal for this company
