Slow service
In the morning we arrive at Melbourne Airport around 4 p. m. Our flight 6:55. Everyone is happy that it is finally such a big day when we go to America. And there's a queue across the airport and on it the whole long queue with only 2-3 cash registers open. Well, let's wait an hour or a half. Arriving in our round there appears a woman who regulates the line this tells us: Come please here but, after 5 seconds thoughtfully says: No, go back. We say we're not going anywhere because, you told us to come here and we already gave passports to the woman who checked us in for the flight. Well, nothing went away and the whole long line was hit in that AuAir maze and only 1 cash register opened for the whole long maze. As it may be that AuAir has 10 or less cash registers, but in the morning when many fly away open it is only 2-3. I forgot to mention that the woman who checked in did not give us tickets for the Copenhagen-Washington flight, but there were already other pensioners who were on our plane to Washington. They were given in Brisbane. Then the question is: Are all Melbourne Airport employees equally qualified that one can give tickets for the next flight? Another says: I can't give you tickets because check-in is not open for the flight you need. 20 minutes before departure. It's good that we arrived 3 hours in advance.
