How long after you purchase gas with your debit card does it take it out of your bank

Card skimmer at pump

My card was skimmed at one of the pumps at the west lafayette location in west lafayette on sagamore parkway west yesterday. Many fraudulent charges on my card this morning. Please check all pumps!!! User’s recommendation: Do not pay at pump here. There are card skimmers. Pay inside!!!
