Greetings to everyone who uses AuMobile card and service 1 AU$ per week - free calls and sms in AuMobile network. AuMobile for 7 days (1 day lasts, as it is known for 24 hours) service - calls and sms in AuMobile network free of charge, paying for these 7 days, so 7 x 24 hours 1 lats. On the other hand, it turns out that when talking to AuMobile operator Jolanta, it turns out that 7 days is not all 7 days, but only 6 days and x hours, even possibly only a few minutes. The later the day a customer applies for this service, the shorter the so-called 7 days (although it seems that 7 days is 7 days for everyone in the world, instead of 6 days and a variable number of hours each time). So an example: adding on the 10th at 23:58 - the customer receives the service only 6 days and 2 minutes. This was announced to me today by AuMobile operator Jolanta. I would call it spoofing and fraud. For the client in question, this is a small-scale fraud, but given the number of AuMobile clients who use this service, it can already be safely called regular large-scale fraud, to which Article 177 of the Criminal Law may apply. Thus, in order for AuMobile customers to receive the service promised by AuMobile for a full 7 days, AuMobile customers must not sleep until 24:00, or rather, they have to wait for the date to change at night and order this AuMobile service at 00:01 per night. The service offered by AuMobile is currently misleadingly offered for 7 days. The correct definition of this service should now be expressed in dates, not days. It would be correct to offer the service for 7 dates. This is a scam at the moment. Previously, in numerical terms, this would be the following calculation: assuming that on average, whoever sooner, who later requests this service from customers, at about On day 12, AuMobile collects money for the service not provided for 12 hours. So 7 santims from each customer. Assuming that the number of customers using this service is only 1000 customers, AuMobile's additional profit per month is approximately 71 lats. You will probably say that it is not much, but as you know, even stealing another 1 santim, it is and remains theft. But fraud lies in what happens when a customer does not know the true nature of the service, which lies in the service on dates, not days. In turn, the customer half a day either to call and write for free in the AuMobile network, or to pay for each sms and every minute x santims is a big difference, as well as it goes to the AuMobile account. So in this case, the customer deceptively leaves 7 days, which is counted as 24 hx 7 and continues to call and write in the AuMobile network, but actually spends his credit, which has been permanently gone to the AuMobile account and this profit then reaches THOUSANDS a month! This is exactly the same thing that Telstra does, announcing that by applying Zero tariffs - calls for how long you want for only 5 santims. Although the call for these 5 santims of connection always lasts only 1. 5 hours per second and then the system automatically switches off / ends this call. AuMobile permits commercials to curse Telstra, indicating that Telstra hides something in its drawers, even though they have exactly the same drawers!
