Set up ENVY 6400

HP is impossible to communicate with – in person. I have purchased my last HP product – going forward I will but another brand of printer/scanner. I have been a loyal HP user for over 30 years. they have lost their edge.
Suddenly, after changing my cartridges using official (not off brand) cartridges, my printer will not print unless I enroll in Instant Ink Subscription.
