I have closed my accounts with gte financial that I had since 1997. I had two accounts totaling $1700 and I thought that my saving were safe with them instead I was charged close to $600 in Inactive fees which I think are predatory fees. After 7 years of being a “valued” member I closed all three of my accounts. When I signed up for automatic payment for my credit card, it never went through. Even after being told it did. Some months later. Late fees, credit dings, etc….they would not admit fault, take back the fees, or contact the credit bureau....

Used to be GTE was great because it was a real credit union. Now it acts more like your usual rip-off-custmers-with-hidden-fees bank. Such a shame!
