Four outages in two months. Transformer I think is the issue, but I dont see any them fixing the problem.
They charge you more in the winter and claim it’s because of your furnace running. I don’t have a heat pump/furnace or baseboard heat, I only have a wood stove in my house for heat but my electric still goes up almost double! And then we have the daily loss of power at 9am, it goes out...

Out since Sunday, and they called three times to say my problem fixed! NO IT’S NOT! Bad enough for two seniors to be freezing, but to come home to find out it’s not been fixed REALLY steams me! Sync your computer to the work that’s ACTUALLY BEING DONE!
First energy sucks. They plan outages in NOVEMBER, when its cold. Service (and heat) was supposed to be restored by 2 pm. Then they changed it to 7. Then 9. It’s getting cold in here. Who plans outages in the fall and winter? The best part is they wait until the time its supposed to be on...
