Tray has paint chipping off

My family loves the air fryer and only had it 6 months and the black paint on the insert tray is peeling off and getting on food. Not happy with this failing within 6 months of having it.

Just a pan of water with chairs.

Bought at BB&B, my favorite store. Thought it was a set and forget soft medium and hard boiled egg cooker. Turned out that a pan of boiling water and a timer was just as good.
