Gastroscopy at Dr. Abu Meri
The fact that the gastroscopy procedure is not pleasant is self-evident, but I want to tell you about the attitude of the staff that I received. It all started with Dr. Abu Meri's nurse filling out my medical card and asking questions so that I had to ask several times - growling something incomprehensibly under my nose. After receiving confirmation that I am on such a procedure for the first time, I did not explain anything about what awaited me, called me to the doctor's office, made me lie down, opened my mouth and blew something into it: D I realized that it is a medicine to numb my neck. Well, I heard something about it. Then I wait for about 5 minutes until the doctor arrives. Then the funniest begins - no word is said and the "fun" procedure begins. It doesn't occur to any of them to tell me how, for how long and what will really happen, just tell me if you have to breathe all the time: D the doctor comes with the results, gives his hands and says to go to the family doctor. Only by asking myself what and how, I get a short answer. I understand that he will not be the one to treat me, but at least he will call me in the office, he will explain something! So, when he runs past, the doctor also disappears in his office with another patient (probably face control: D). For such a service at the reception I pay 70 AUD, which is deducted from my policy (phuuuuu, well that way) in about 10 minutes, because something does not work. It turns out that the employee does not really know how to act and one of the "kind" colleagues of the employee does not kindly indicate what should be done then:"Read from the page what to do next!". Very nice staff.
