8.75 broken cam gear

Briggs newest and dumbest idea. Plastic cam gears used in a lot of different size engines. I am in lawn care business with all Briggs on my equipment. Poor reliability (Engine Model 33R777****-G1)

I will make this as short as possible. I purchased a new Husqvarna Riding Mower Model 18542 in January 2019. Within 2 weeks (aprox 2-3 hours) the valve cover began leaking oil….replaced RTV with gasket…leak fixed. Today the engine just quit (aprox 75 hours). Lawn Mower 4 years old with 177 hours with a blown head gasket

I purchased a john deere riding lawn mower in July of 2016 with a Briggs And Stratton engine serial number 15D813ZD81787 The mower had 177 hours on it in July 2020 it started smoking so it was taken to an authorized dealer and repaired for $440.71 I IDo User’s recommendation: Do not buy Briggs sand Stratton products.

I will NEVER buy another lawn mower with Briggs and Stratton engine. Stupid designing on their part and should be held accountable for their ignorant design. User’s recommendation: Do not buy any products with a Briggs and Stratton engine.
