I will make this as short as possible. I purchased a new Husqvarna Riding Mower Model 18542 in January 2019. Within 2 weeks (aprox 2-3 hours) the valve cover began leaking oil....replaced RTV with gasket...leak fixed. Today the engine just quit (aprox 75 hours). Diagnosed to a defective Fuel Solenoid....the solenoid must have gotten very hot as the plug will not come out as it is melted together. This mower is maintained impeccably. I have never had issues with B&S products in the past 40 plus years. Not only am I having to do the repairs on a nearly new engine I am also having to make the repairs (parts) at my expense. In the future I will think twice before purchasing another piece of equipment if it has a B&S engine. User's recommendation: Think twice about B&S. I believe the quality is no longer there.
