Didn't want to sell me a ticket, no matter what I wanted to buy it for, it gave me a penalty and laughed at the controller

I drove from Bulduri to Oakland with my girlfriend and sat with my back to the corridor where the controller was walking because I was talking to my girlfriend. And when it got out (after 4 stations) we didn't have a controller either. And when it came I wanted to buy a ticket but they laughed and told me that she wouldn't sell the ticket and would give me a fine for not having a ticket when I tried to talk to him why. I can't buy the way I've always done, it started to pretend they weren't doing it that I didn't buy a ticket. And after that I calmly said that I wanted to talk to the police so that they would let me know why it happened, the controller was terribly furious and, despite his age, led himself very rudely. But even the police did not explain to me why they could no longer buy a ticket from the controllers on trains.
