Refusing to issue a check
I am a business customer who takes a taxi frequently (1-3 times a day) and I I always need a check because I can file them as a company expense. Often the reluctance and laziness of drivers makes writing a check a difficult task (although I always emphasize the need for a check before starting a trip). Am I really asking for something so impossible? Why face negativity? Last time my manager refused to make a strict report receipt (because for some reason unable to check) because of too small an amount. Why do I have to spend my personal money on trips because drivers are lazy or unable to make checks - or is it not a prerequisite for any service - to write a check?!
