Rarely Disgusting Attitude
Before my first birth, I attended ten birth preparation courses, read several books, and decided I wanted to give birth in water. The midwife from the Melbourne maternity hospital responded so well in the courses that I realized - this is me. When asked if a contract should be signed with a particular person in advance, the midwife said that no - 1) it is not necessary, 2) you can only buy more time for money, the person's character will not change and 3) at least 1 midwife on duty at the maternity hospital every day, which is I have taken special courses to accept water births... relying on it, on my childbirth day I went to the Melbourne Maternity Hospital and at the reception I said that I want to give birth in water. The lovely midwife who accepted me called the maternity ward, informing me that I would be taken up immediately and that I wanted to give birth in water. suddenly even I, standing a few meters from the phone, heard the handset scream at the other end against water births. someone apparently had a great dislike for it. and then it just started... I was treated like a dog! from the beginning I repeatedly wanted to dissuade me from giving birth in water - without justifying why, when I said yes, I really want to give birth in water, and I am ready to pay for it, I was told that not everyone should give birth in water at all. I ask: when not? answer: well, for example, if the green waters. I: The waters have not yet come to me. "Let's pierce, let's see!" (I will not comment that I am at all about natural childbirth and water failure)... well - pierced - the waters very well. I cut off my mother in a bath of water... the birth seemed to be easy and fast (4h from the first pain), but what emotions did I have to go through... in my raised voice cried all the time that I could not give birth, I could not push, and so on. (for me it was my first birth - hardly where could I have learned it?) My midwife was Carrol Laveniece - she didn't swear, but she didn't explain anything either, just whispered something about me behind the back with other staff... , for example, when a child was born, I heard only "so it didn't come out... " - when I asked what it was, why it didn't come - I didn't answer anything... I didn't normally explain at what point how to be better, how to breathe, etc... NOTHING! But the biggest horror was Dr. Natalia Valujeva - a real foreign language soldier - to train her so much! when I stood up for wanting to give birth in water, she said to me, quoting the word: "Province! Wisdom on the Internet, communicate some wisdom, but can not give birth!" moreover, when I had already squeezed the child's head into the water, pulled me out of the bath, made myself climb on the bed, where I could only be jumping and without a word spoke with scissors... Then sewed so that I physically shook everything from her gentle touches (not from the pain, because there was a pot). After that, no thread was absorbed, but still started to purulent - fortunately my gynecologist saved the situation. I do not wish anyone such a childbirth experience. therefore, I advise all obstetricians not to rely on the fact that any doctor is humane (I personally do not need the attitude of a bitch flower, but I do not think that the maternity hospital is the place where the doctor hurts and humiliates the obstetrician) and to contract with one of the midwives met, who speaks to you at least in some human way. Fortunately, my husband also took part in the birth, who could at least give me water and tell me when to push! (imagine - not the midwife or the doctor sayingbut the husband!) then tried to insult the husband that she could see in the water what could and could not give birth in the water (it turns out not only from the view but already standing next to the phone with a chute 7 floors below... ) fui, fui, fui. disgusting memories!
