Riga Maternity Hospital
Hello. I want to share my experience. Recently, I gave birth to another girl at the Melbourne Maternity Hospital. There were no problems the first time, only the pediatricians did not explain what a hemongeoma was. Now, for the second time, I was just amazed at how you could understand each other. Let's start with the fact that the waters came to me early in the morning. I still slowly and wisely took a shower and called an ambulance. Arrived, taken away, received, placed in the antenatal ward. There, the doctor who admitted me to the department widened his big eyes and asked why I was driving so fast, if not even the pain appeared. I replied that because of the waters. Then this one mumbled with the phrase that that's why I ran and sent him to the room. After a while I had to go to the gynecologist for an examination. Occasionally a doctor with a rough, firm hand, who did not keep their comments. I allowed myself to lift the tone against me, i allowed the previous patients to gnaw during the test. After about 4 hours I was taken to the maternity ward. The pain was minimal. From the beginning it was observed but after a couple of hours the system was already present because the opening is slowly opening. After 17 hours, the same gynecologist who initially examined her said that a caesarean section should be performed, because in the meantime she had opened so 5 cm and there was no more time. Of course I agreed. After the spinal anesthesia, I fell asleep and woke up practically when it was over. I fell asleep so soon I saw the little angel. She was already bluish. Then I woke up again when I was taken to the postpartum block. The next morning I asked the doctor when to bring the little one, I answered so rudely - when the children's nurses come up with it, then also bring it. I saw the girl only in the evening and also only for 2 hours because then she took her back to her sisters. The next day, the doctor attached that I was not wearing a postpartum belt. A friend bought it, brought it, but when I put it on, the midwife on duty saw it and without a little or a raised tone crumbled on top of it, saying that I should not put it so quickly, we have to wait at least a week. And such a misunderstanding was not only about the belt, but about walking and medication as well. In the meantime, a phrase about the food fell out. Wrote us so 5 a day. But it didn't end there. It didn't take even a couple of days to leave the scar. I went to the surgeon and he immediately said that the wound had not been treated well after giving birth. There was other stuff, but I consider this birth an evil nightmare that I don't want to remember. The only joy is that the baby is all right.
