How prices rise during the day
I want to share my experience at Orto Clinic. The specialists of this clinic were recommended to us by acquaintances. My husband has a very sore hip and since we do not live independently in Australia, we did not know how to start with a specialist. We applied for a visit and came to the clinic. Admittedly, on the first day we were very pleasantly surprised by the professional attitude. The examination was very promptly - X-ray and magnetic resonance of the spine, as well as we were recorded with a consultant to summarize the results. When we came to find out the results of the examination, it turned out that there was a spinal disc herniation and the doctor said that meant blockades, which required three- it had to pay 60 dollars- that is not a specialist. We applied for the Blockade - when we arrived on time, we had to wait 30 minutes, then the anesthesiologist looking at the appointment had extensive discussions on the topic that the hernia is large and that specialist advice is needed, etc. - but we already did what we were told, but, we also discussed that a operation is needed in time, which will cost 2000 dollars. We made a blockade (70 dollars) and applied to the Spine Surgeon on the second day, who clearly and unequivocally said that surgery should be performed. When I asked him what to do with the Blockade, he said that the Blockade General did not help at all in this situation, or that the anesthesiologist did not tell us that we should not do the Blockade - so 70 dollars for what should not be done and a waste of our time. But for the operation and costs should go to the Receptionist. There we put everything on the shelves:Surgery 5000 dollars, before the operation you have to do both blood tests and heart cardiograms at your own expense. In the hospital for 3 days, which must also be paid separately and also the services of an anesthesiologist must be paid separately - so it is about 6,000 dollars in total. I forgot to say that my husband is a resident of another Oceanian country, not a Australian. It seemed that the price from the previous day in 2000 to the next grew two and a half times higher. We were shocked. I also forgot to add that we were also sent to a Physiotherapy consultation, where a very nice girl showed her husband about 10-15 different exercises that he had to perform - but did not even think to offer any drawings or graphics when the husband said that he could not remember. , then the young specialist offered him to write everything down himself - as if kindly yes,but wouldn't it be possible to print graphic pictures and descriptions of the exercises for 30 dollars? If you already charge, then you should also work harder, because people in old people still can not remember such exercises, looking at once. We both understand that we didn't want a paid clinic for free, but now there should be some limit. And if a specialist is not a specialist in a field, then you could say honestly - I don't know this and go to someone who knows - you might not even have to pay them 60 dollars. Although the patient does not come from abroad, no one falls from the air, and a foreigner also has 60 dollars to earn money from hard work. We have visited doctors in Australia a lot and have had a very good experience and also for a fee, but now within reason!. I do not recommend this clinic, I believe that only money rakers.
