I am very unpleasantly surprised by my long-standing operator Telstra. Huge "thank you" to Telstra for the services provided! Thank you so much for disabling all services while abroad! Glad as for you, it is normal to leave a person without any possibility of communication also in Australia, where incoming calls are free according to your own information! And without warning. "Thank you" for really "caring" for the satisfaction of your long-term customers! I will not use your services in the future. That the only way to reconnect is "My Telstra" and yes you have never used it - then you will not be able to receive a statement with a password - because everything is disabled!
