I am poor and I gave $15 and never got the trees, coffee, book and calendar promised if I sent in the survey .
The trees they sent were of bareroot varities. I planted them but failed to protect them and they were both run over by my husband (accidently) and/or eaten by deer or other hungry animals. For two years I fell for this ploy. They promise free trees for a donation. NO FREE TREES EVER ARRIVE. Apparently, this is a scam. Should have listened to my Mom’s advice, “Once bitten, twice shy” but got TWICE BITTEN by their silly “survey.” Like, “Have you ever climbed a tree?” Give me a break!
I ordered 2 apple, 2 pear, several hazelnut and 10 redbud trees. ONLY 7 redbuds ever leafed and are alive now. The rest never grew any leaf!
