Customer attraction
In December 2020, Optus advertised everywhere, connected to the Internet and TV, concludes a contract for 24 months. and you will receive a guaranteed gift - a tablet. That's what I did. It turned out that in order to receive a tablet, you have to take a passport and run through their customer service departments yourself and find where you will be given a tablet. Right at the beginning of January, I had to change the passport, which I received at the end of January and then went for my gift. In one customer service department, I announced that there were no more gifts here and sent them to another, where an incompetent employee informed me that I did not deserve any gift at all. While I solved this issue over the phone with Optus operators, it turned out that indeed this employee had made a mistake and the gift was due to me, but suddenly the gifts had run out in this place as well. In short, I did not receive the GUARANTEED gift, from which I conclude that these gifts are just an advertising ploy to enter into long-term contracts. Secondly, when concluding the contract, I informed the date when I can pay the bills, but I was told that I have to pay then, when they write. A very approachable company, considering that now I'm 24 months. I will pay fines for the missed 3 days. I SORRY, I AM A Optus CUSTOMER!
