Misleading customers when booking
Hello, I would like to inform you that customers are being misled, namely, I am booking a table in Tokyo city (Oak Street) for the first time in honor of a happy event. Before booking, I found out that it can only be done in person, paying 15 dollars per person. The payment per person already seemed too high and it was already clear that we would hardly spend 60 AU$ (4 people), so I went on the spot to ask if the balance would be returned from the money paid (60 AUD), to which I replied: " of course there will be! "so I booked a table and paid 60 AUD. The day came, we ordered food and drinks, we ate well, so everything was good and nice, but when it came time to pay, we learned from the waiter that the money is not returned, we were shocked - only 50 dollars out of 60 eur, as well as saidthat this amount of money will also disappear from the customer card within 3 (if I remember correctly) days. We insisted that the waiter have to go to inquire again, because at the time of booking he said that the balance would be returned. But unfortunately the waiter came back and said that this is the system and nothing is returned, we can only order something. We didn't want to waste a day going to complain, so we ordered this more and in the end we spent everything we paid and added. Question: Is deception a kind of strategy to earn more or what... ? In addition, at the time of booking, it was not communicated that the money paid would be listed on the customer card provided and that it would have to be paid for (it is good that I had taken the entire "pile" (discount cards, checks, customer card)...
