I live in a Dallas High Rise near Northwest Highway and the Tollway, and there is a real problem with noise from cars & motorcycles racing down the tollway on weekends. Many of these vehicles have mufflers that are easily 10x-20x the normal muffler noise level. It rattles the windows and reverberates through my condo well into the morning hours on most weekends. It wakes my 8 year old daughter and is like living on a racetrack. Since the pandemic, I have never seen any traffic enforcement of any kind, and commonly witness cars & motorcycles going 120-130mph on the tollway. Aside from a major nuisance to anyone living along the tollway, its just a matter of time until someone is killed.
