theft by avg

AVG took $100 out of my account on November 11th, 2017. I bought the AVG antivirus a year ago, but it proved rather worthless, with two viruses I did not know about causing havoc on my computer. They sent me lots of emails in the year saying I should re-up, but I deleted each and all. There was no place on their emails to tell them no way, nor a place to voice what I thought of their lousy service. Then yesterday they sent me an email saying, "Congratulations" for re-upping, and that I should confirm my purchase." No where was any way to reject it or deny that I had done anything to encourage them. I deleted it, foolishly thinking they could not do anything without my confirmation. Voila, they sucked out $100 from my account without my permission or confirmation. According to any law anywhere, this is robbery. I am saying this as politely as I can, but I know I am probably one among hundreds that they do this to, so there is much more I want to say. This is not the first time this has happened to me by online marketing scams by supposedly reputable companies. If AVG wishes to not be called a thief, then they should clearly show a red box that states, "I do not wish to renew my AVG software." Also, it should have another clickable spot to totally remove AVG from my computer, as well as all the future pop-ups and emails they will send me. I wish neither I nor my computer would remember AVG again.
