Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine lid shattered six months after purchased from Lowes

12/21/2018 my Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine was delivered. The following April, 2019, the lid shattered. Factory warranty replaced the lid. Again Feb. 2020, the lid shattered and my Extended Protection Plan replaced the lid. In Nov. 2020, it shattered again (protection plan) and I taped it over and over until this month, April 2021, it shattered to much to use the washer. I am currently waiting for my fourth lid, which I know will also shatter in time as I was told by a service man there is not enough traction and the lid is on too tight. Who is responsible for this lemon? Whirlpool says they are not and the Lowe's protective plan says it's the manufacturers. What a sham.
