Transferring an ownership into my name

3

I have been an owner with Inn Seasons for 16 or 17 hears. This Feb, I inquired about transferring a membership into my name from a family member. The miss communication between Alicia C. and Carol A. have been incredible. I understand that there are many owners but the process began with my calling in and receiving instructions from Alicia. When I called a few weeks later to follow up, she stated that she had no record of a talking to me etc and had no idea to what I was referring. Given that no one in the family new the details about the ownership, I had provided the contract number etc and was not given proper instructions or put in touch with the proper person until June. In expressing my frustrations about this process, I was finally told: Hi Christine - I just looked back on all the notes and emails that I have on this account and found that I (not Alicia Crowell) sent you and the Roberts an mail on March 16, 2021 and again on 6/10/2021 informing all of you that to complete the transfer I needed a copy of your driver's license and a utility bill as stated on the New Membership Application that you filled out and mailed back to me. So again, please send in a copy of your driver's license and a copy of a utility bill then we can move forward. I proceeded to explain that I had already done this weeks ago. I had emailed and explained this. In the meantime, Alicia sent an email stating should could not help me on July 20 but in another email on July 19 wrote: Good morning Christine, Again, I need the unit and week at Pollard Brook. I have no record of a transfer to you or receiving anything from you other than transaction that we completed in February that I attached to the June 7, 2021 9:09 am email. I also do not have an owner named William or Bill Roberts. Is it possible that you are doing a transfer for the InnSeason Vacation Club ? If thats the case, that could be why I have no records. Carol Andreozzi processes' all legal documents for InnSeason Vacation Club. My suggestion would be to contact Mr. Roberts and have him contact Carol directly. She will be able to update him on the status of a transfer for the Club. Best Regards, Aliicia Crowell I think much confusion is evident and left me not knowing to whom I should speak or how to get the issue resolved which began in Feb. Between these emails, I emailed Carol stating: I am so disgusted and disappointed by the lack of assistance and customer service. I did respond to the email you sent June 9 and never heard back. At this point, before I seek someone higher up in the company, this began months ago. What needs to be done to complete the transfer. YOu say you do not have the ownership record but in another email you acknowledge that you do. If you cannot help me with this than please get the person who needs to address it to please respond. YOu last said you needed proof of ID which I sent. Now you are saying you basically do not know what I am talking about. This is ridiculously difficult and I would not recommend Inn Seasons now to anyone. Meanwhile, maintenance fees are not getting paid as the ownership is in limbo between William Roberts and myself. Finally on July 21, I received the following: Again - I received from you: 1) Document to transfer that Mr. & Mrs. Roberts signed 2) The two page New Membership Application that you filled out 3) Check #2203 in the amount of $400.00 If you do not send in the other two documents by July 30th the process to transfer will be voided and Mr. & Mrs. Roberts will have to find another person to transfer their points to. We are done communicating with you. Warmest regards, Carol Andreozzi To tell an owner "We are done communicating with you" is totally unacceptable in my opinion. I have criticized the service I was receiving and will happily provide the Board of Directors, to whom she reports, every email in this exchange. As I expressed in those emails, the lack of efficiency and organization throughout this transaction has been appalling. In addition, repeatedly I have been told the errors were mine. I have now submitted all of the documentation again and have not received any confirmation. Upon emailing this to Carol, the email was undeliverable. I called yesterday to talk to someone above Carol and the person to whom I spoke turned it on me stating that she had never heard of a complaint against Carol and clearly, I had been talking to the wrong person, had a bad day and it was how I communicated with Carol. I was with someone and had the call on speaker who was also appalled and shocked at how I was once again, by an Inn Seasons employee, spoken to about this issue. It has been since Feb. Maintenance fees are accruing as the ownership should have long been transferred to me. To threaten me with not transferring the ownership and refusing to have communication is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I cannot believe this is how an owner is treated when errors were made within the company and a $24, 000 ownership, as well as an owner of 17 or so years, is treated like trash. I own several timeshares and have never experienced such horrible customer service. Christine Frydenborg Dargon
