I was shopping at Hancock Fabrics store # 1665 at 3070 Wake Forest Rd. in Raleigh NC on July 8, 2016. The store was having a closeout sale and all the brands of patterns were priced at $199 each. I selected exactly sixteen patterns at $1.99 each with no duplicates, which should total around $32.00, plus $16.00 worth of fabric and thread. The clerk charged me a total $132.07. I was rather tired during the transaction which was just before 9pm closing, and regret that I neglected to add up the total as I was shopping. When I got home I put the parcel aside for a week or two, and upon opening it again I re-read the receipt. I had purchased 19 items, but the receipt listed 57 items!! I looked more closely and found that the clerk had charged me multiple time for one pattern, in one case 23 times, in another 13 times, and so forth. I went back to try and set this right with the store manager, but the store was GONE!!!
