Within a few weeks of install, the compressor was making a loud grinding noise every few hours. Alaso a very loud bang every few hours and these do not coincide with each other. The bang sounds like someone dropping a glass on the counter...all night long. It wakes the entire house up at midnight 2am 4am and all day long with bedroom doors shut! They have serviced it 3 times. The company we bought it from services it. They said it needs replaced, that it has serious issues. Frigidaire asked for a second opinion and the second service company agreed that it is jacked up. They said the entire condensing system needs replaced as well as the compressor. So the only thing that is ok is the light. Electrolux has agreed to refund our purchase price but not the sales tax or delivery fee...plus we have to buy a more another Frigidaire unit...we have owned this turd for 4 months. So we will be out $90 delivery fee, $200 sales tax and the price increase...because this unit has to be ordered and they claim to be a year out which im sure this one is discontinued. YOU CAN NOT TALK TO A HUMAN AT THIS COMPANY. THE MESSAGE ALWAYS SAYS "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME, YOU CAN NOT REACH ANYONE AT THIS TIME, CALL BACK" click. I dont want another Frigidaire and I hear that LG is worse according to one of the service guys. Looking for a good night's sleep and less time waiting around waiting on a service tech to show up.
