being charged twice for a rental car

on 4/20/21 i booked a car on line for arrival in Fort Myers on 4/22/21. My credit card was charges for $311.79 When we arrived I presented the paper work with booking reference 2194586. We were told by your worker that nothing was showing in the computer for this booking. He advised that he had a car available.I asked about the $311.79 charged & he advised us that we would not be charged because nothing showed in the computer. A new reservation was started Reservation#2195922 0n April 22 2021.for the charge of 406.74. When i received my statement the charge for 311.79 was on which needs to be reimbursed . Its funny how all of sudden this showed up in computer. I spoke to a worker by the name of A.J when I called he spoke to a manager & said refund would not be a problem. I sent a letter with copies Rental agreement & Booking #. As of today no response . Just so you know the worker tried many times looking for the booking...All of sudden it shows up after the fact. I expect a refund back to my card I hope this is the last of this. William & Elena Mulhern cc: Barclays Bank
