Delayed overnight with no vouchers

2

Flight DL 4335 scheduled to fly from Minneapolis to Escanaba was delayed overnight due to a weather equipment issue. When we were told to deplane and couldn't get answers from staff, I called Delta County airport in Escanaba directly. They informed me that the equipment couldn't be fixed until morning and we were stuck overnight. They told us Delta airlines could help with vouchers. Delta airlines then told us it was due to the airport equipment failure therefore they are not responsible and no vouchers could be given. All of your customers were left stranded with no help for overnight accommodations or food for the night. And that's not our only added cost. A mining crew is out money because they cannot report for their job in the morning. I have to try and scramble to find help for last minute overnight childcare for my 3 children. And not one bit of help is offered to us for a delay none of us had any control over? How is this good customer service?
