Daily Steals On July 14, 2021 I contacted them to inform them that a Surface Pro 5 that I ordered was defective. It would not turn on or charge. I paid through Paypal and funds where taken from my bank account. Order Number: 3362863 RMA Number: I received the Surface Pro but it won't hold a charge. Left it charging for 2 hours, still no charge. Cable is fine. Please advise to return item. Thanks. They sent me an RMA so could return it. I did and they received it. They responded: Melvin (Daily Steals) Jul 21, 2021, 11:19 EDT Hello, It looks like your return has been delivered, we should have an update for you within 3-5 business days! On July 29, 2021 after sending an email asking why they had not refunded me. they wrote: Hi! I have just processed your refund for the amount of $451.38! You will see the funds in the next few business days (it all depends on your bank or financial institution). Please check your email for confirmation and let me know if there is anything else I can do! Thank you! On August 5, I emailed again asking for my refund. They answered: Melvin (Daily Steals) Aug 6, 2021, 10:14 EDT "Hi Edgar, Yes, we already refunded the order back in your original payment method. The refund would reflect within 3-7 business days depending on your bank. You may call your bank to check out the refund. Thank you" My bank shows nothing. Upon checking their web, they have given me store credit for the amount. I have emailed them numerous times to ask them to refund to my paypal account and they keep repeating the same thing. I have filed a dispute through Paypal and no response yet. However, Paypal shows a different company that drew the accounts and not Daily Steals so I have no idea how this will turn out. This is not acceptable and it's a scam. My funds should have been returned by now.
