I filed a complaint about 2 weeks ago regarding a "Shave and a haircut, 2 bits" horn blast at 4:38am in Ravena, NY 12143. I don't have the complaint number, but I believe it was for Friday morning, August 27, 2021, involving a northbound train. This is not a construction warning. A week later, Friday morning, September 3, 2021, and probably the same time it was 3 blasts, then 2 blasts, then 1 blast at least 15 or 20 times. I think the train was southbound, but I am not sure. The train seemed to be traveling at normal speed, so I don't think it was construction related. This morning, Friday, September 10, 2021, at 4:43am regarding a northbound train it was 3 blasts. They blow the horn during the daytime at the Little League Park and the Village pool. We have neighbors who work nights and don't need this. The location is about at the Hudson Valley Little League club house, Four Seasons Mobile Community, and Magnolia Circle in Ravena, NY 12143. We are a mile or so West of mile marker 131 of the New York State Thruway. It must be someone living at one of these communities and it has to stop. My next step is to notify the FRA, PSC or any Federal agency that regulates unnecessary horn use. I know this is a long note, but I am a light sleeper and cannot get back to sleep for most of the morning, and I am a very senior citizen. Thank you.
