I got a Costco citi card and when my payment information was entered a number was missing, I called to speak with a customer service agent and I was told that my information was incorrect I gave him the correct payment information he told me that there should be no problem.the payment went through and I was told that everything was ok. I then get a letter saying my account was closed! I called to speak with someone and I was told that I was being transferred they then re applied for my account. It was denied and I now have a hard inquiry on my credit report. This is very unacceptable. I have several credit cards and I have never experienced such a archaic system that citi uses My payment account should be verified before any of this ever transpired. I would like to make a formal complaint about this disservice and treatment. Rodney James 310.261.7389
