We have a new home 18 months old, with Milgard windows. Little did I realize, Milgard only warranties windows, unless a warranty for 1 year on screens is considered a warranty. They do not make the screens, but job them out. The screens we received were not a fit, and not even close. They only worked when insects got in. They could not get back out. We have used dowel rods to keep the screens a little tighter. Mr. Pettmering (supervisor) said...out of warranty...tough luck. luck. warranty. Pettmering User's recommendation: For the price of some cheap screens, they dump a customer and a builder. Read the fine print in your warranty.
