On April 12 I went to my storage unit at 444 E. St. Charles Road in Carol Stream, IL. I couldn't get the door open. The employee on site couldn't get the door open either. She claimed to have filed a service request but today marks 10 days without it being repaired. I need some tools out of the space. This is unacceptable. User's recommendation: Do NOT give Public Storage a dime. No matter what it costs go somewhere else. I can't get the door on my space open. I have now waited 10 days for a repair. The reason is the poor condition of the units. I'm sure there is no regular maintenance to keep things working. They wait until a problem exists to do anything. Run away from this place as fast as you can.
