Defective material on canopy

Received a 10x12 Regency II gazebo from my daughter for Christmas 2019. The gazebo was put up in May of 220 and taken down in Sept 2020. It was put up this year in May 2021 and at the end of June the top was shredding. It appears to me to be defective material or dry rot. The gazebo was purchased through Amazon Order #112-317****-0673048 User's recommendation: Beware of inferior product and no response from manufacturer.
