During the coldest temperatures in Dallas since 1949 Oncor decided to shut the electric power/heat off to thousands of residential customers saying the power would be out for 15 to 60 minutes. The 15-60 minutes turned Oncor turning on the power for 1 hour and off for 7 hours causing freezing temperatures in our house and causing plumbing to burst. Our power was fine until Oncor started helping. A class action law suit should be filed against Oncor to cover damages. User's recommendation: Oncor is the only electric provider in our area so we have no choice. We can select our electric company but Oncor is the only provider.
