Update by user Feb 17, 2021 Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Original review posted by user Feb 17, 2021 All electric is out at my father's home for the past three days during the freezing weather. He is a senior adult with serious heart issues. (We don't live in the same city) I called the Oncor emergency phone number and waited an hour for someone to answer my call. I was told that Oncor couldn't do anything about my father not having electric power to his home. It was not their fault that we were experiencing the rolling blackouts. I stated his was not rolling. That it had been over three days of no electricity and dropping temperatures in the single digits with wind chills -zero was not good for anyone. The customer service agent said all she could say was that the grid had to be brought back up. I asked her why is there an emergency number if they couldn't help the customer with life-threatening health issues? She said it was only to give out current information only, not to generate work orders. Still today he has no electricity and the temperature is still below freezing.
