Terrible Service – Bordering on Fraud

I have been diligently paying my $19 + tax monthly charges on the 6th of every month in a pre-paid plan with Freedom Mobile. I received a text confirmation that they received that amount. On June 7, 2021, I was wondering why my phone and data wasn't working. The 611 line was very busy, but I heard on the recording that I owed $29 for each line. That made no sense to me. This was the second time it happened to me recently. I added $10 more to my account. My line still didn't work. I called Freedom from my grandson's phone. After being on hold for over an hour and being cut off the line, I was mad as *** I decided to switch to a competitor of theirs. After being set up with the new company, I tried calling Freedom again the next day and was lucky I only had to wait about 5 minutes to speak to a human. The customer rep said since I canceled the service with them, they are unable to see anything on my account and any money I had deposited with them was forfeited. Isn't that a great scam? You pay them and as soon as you cancel your service, all the information in your account disappears along with your money! My credit card company reversed the charges immediately after I informed them. Thank you, TD Bank Visa Card. User's recommendation: Forget Freedom. The is a lot of other mobile companies.
