Freedom ported my number to another customer’s account

I I entered a Freedom Mobile store on July 4 to transfer my cell phone service from Rogers to Freedom. I explained that it was imperative that I could port my number because I could not lose it. It was told port would take 90 min. I followed up from that evening to July 9 and still porting not done. On July 10 I call my number and a man answers and I find out Freedom Mobile had just assigned my number to him a few hours ago. I contact Freedom July 10 and tell them that they assigned my number to another customer in error all the while I have been waiting for 5 days for my number to port. I was told since my number was now registered to another customer (in error or not), I could not get my number back! get it back. have my number back.DIf User's recommendation: Do not trust Freedom Mobile to port your number, you will lose it.
