Creamed Corn and Peas
First of all let me make clear that I love all your products and have used them for years (I'm almost 70 years old) when I do not have my own fresh vegetables from my garden. The last two times I have purchased the Birds Eye McKenzies's white creamed corn, I have had to pick the peas out of the corn. You see a brown spot in the corn, take a spoon and get it out (you know you are thinking it's a bug). Once I see it is "just" a pea, I continue to stir the corn checking for more peas. Believe me it does not sit well if you take a dish of creamed white corn to a luncheon and there are little brown spots in this pretty white corn. Folks totally will ignore your dish of corn. I know that peas and corn go together, always have, and I understand your preparing and freezing process, but you might want to consider processing the corn first. I really like to mix my own peas with my corn. Thank you for your time. User's recommendation: I do not have any recommendations for other customers, my comment is between myself and Birds Eye.I am not putting this company or product down, just commenting on what I have found in the product. And I am not "pissed" about it. Thank you for your time.
