I have a new computer, you just renewed my protection to my old/not working computer

first time I used a phone call on computer. Found out 3 hours later the person that helped me on this call, didn't tell me the right answers. He said I was protected, but I wasn't!! I told him I had a new computer, but the renewal was put onto my old/dead computer........ Was NO help at all. User's recommendation: More training.
