No Service and no interest in after sales assistance. Rubbish Device.

My maps require corrections. They have done for several years. The corrections are not road changes but the fault of TomTom. Over the years of have submitted many changes, questions to 'Support'(?), etc. About a month ago, I sent a Registered Letter to TomTom, about my concerns. I have not absolutely no support, no reply to my question and not even an acknowledgement. My device is still under warranty. A suggestion has been made to return the device to my retail outlet, for support, However, I can't do this, as it was purchased on-line. My advice to everyone, is to not buy a TomTom.
