No Customer Service and poor internal business communication
On February 9, 2019, I made the biggest mistake ever. I entered the Big Sandy's Superstore in Zanesville, Ohio. I ordered a small sectional made by England and 2 recliners manufactured by Southern Motion. Both of these furniture manufacturers are located in the United States. Big Sandy promotes these manufacturers as GOLD. I thought by purchasing there Top of the line merchandise my experience would be satisfactory. I was required to make a 30% deposit the day of purchase and I did $975.53 on 02/09/2019. Delivery was to be in 4 to 6 weeks at the latest. I called the store on March 16th which was six weeks to be told the 2 recliners were not ordered and the sectional will be in the warehouse on 03/18/2019. I there needed to return to the store, which is 45 minutes away to pay the balance in order to schedule delivery. I left work on drove the 45 minutes and paid $512.00 but I refused to pay for the recliners until they were scheduled for deliver. With this being said Now Big Sandy's has $1,487.53 of my money and I have absolutely no furniture in my home. Delivery for the sectional was scheduled for Friday, March 22th. I received a telephone message confirming the scheduled delivery for Friday, March 22th. on March 19th. I thought everything was good to go. I reported off work for Friday, March 22th. I called the Big Sandy Superstore at 10:00am Friday, March 22th because I didn't receive a telephone call the night before? After speaking with the customer service girl; she informed me no delivery was scheduled because I owed Big Sandy money. OMG want *** As of today, I need to go to Big Sandy and pay the remaining balance in order to receive the sectional(which I have already paid for in full) and the balance of the recliners $1,584.88 for an estimated delivery date of April 5th. Can you say I am a dumb *** Big Sandy will have been paid $3,072.41 You and I both know if I every receive the furniture I ordered IT WILL BE JUNK.
