Regarding Halifax Health Hospice Store – Port Orange, Fla.

1

For the last 2 months the Port Orange store (Halifax Health Hospice) has gone downhill. Myself and others have noticed a huge difference in cleanliness, display, security, etc. For many years I have donated many household items including clothing , jewelry, etc. in good almost new condition as have my friends. The last 2 months none of this is out in the store - only dollar store or dime store items piled on shelves are seen. Furniture is stacked where you cannot even get to it. I understand this store is under a new management and wonder if the "good" items are either being sent to the Ormond store or who knows where they are. Recently I have now started taking donations to Epiphany Thrift Store in Port Orange. The former manager of the Port Orange Halifax Health Hospice store is working there and that store is neat, clean, and orderly. My Mom and her friend used to go every Saturday to the Hospice store - not anymore. I tried to submit a complaint to Halifax health systems online but cannot seem to do that with their current set up. These are just my observations and a few of my friends. Hopefully someone will notice or read this complaint and "fix" the Hospice Store in Port Orange before they lose anymore business or donations. Thank you.
