La-Z-Boy website states that their leather fabrics " Outlasts fabric 4 to 1 . Leather is 50% stronger than other upholstery and has a life up to 15-20 years ". I bought 2 leather recliners. Fabric began peeling after 3 years. Contacted Shonda B. | Customer Service Representative I | La-Z-Boy Incorporated. Shonda and staff refused to offer any service or replacement covers. I sent photos of Barcolounger leather recliner (Green)that is like new after 18 years. Likewise, leather sofa is in great condition after 23 years. La-z-Boy leather (Burgundy) disintegrates after 3 years. User's recommendation: I do not recommend La-Z-Boy. Their website claims are not accurate and they do not care to stand up to their claims.
