/2 screws broke off up inside of the mechanism and the back fell off , we were told that all la-z-boy mechanisms had a lifetime guarantee so we called them and this is what they said and i quote all of the parts have a lifetime guarantee so they will replace the 2 screws for free all of the labor is on us unquote. User's recommendation: dont beleive la-z-boy.
