I was involved in a car accident. My claim was denied due to not having the proper coverage type. I was never assisted with coverages that I may have needed and had changed how I was using my vehicle. Due to the pandemic, I was working for a delivery service part-time. I went onto the website to look at my coverage since the way I used my car was going to be different but saw nothing about rideshare insurance nor did I know anything about it. My claim was closed without my knowledge and when I followed up after checking the status online I was lied to about a phone conversation t. At this time the company refuses help. Everyone has accidents the only other accident I have had in the last 15 years was weather-related. User's recommendation: Find a company that has a representative that wants to work for you. With the changes in the way people work after the pandemic it is far to easy for big companies (insurance) to let you make a mistake trying to stumble through what you need.
